After her operation, her physical wounds healed quickly but the scars left by years of mistreatment took longer to heal. She is now well adjusted and friendly.

Pumpkin is a female around 5-6 years old and medium sized. She is rather chilled and definitely not very needy, she enjoys her own space just as much as having a cuddle. She is very well leash and muzzle trained so could possibly be suitable for an apartment. She loves to go for walks and would make a good running mate if you’re into fitness. Please consider her if you are looking for a loyal companion who does not need a lot of attention.

Meet Pumpkin, like many of the dogs at ARC she had a bit of a rough start in life but is now ready for her forever home.

Rescued from the side of a busy road, at first, it was thought she had been hit by a car her wound was so bad. However, once we got her to the clinic, we realised it was a burst a tumour that was very infected.
